our services

In Other Words provides paediatric speech pathology assessment and therapy delivered as mobile visits across Sydney's North Shore and via telehealth. Services are provided by a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist in line with Speech Pathology Australia's professional standards and Code of Ethics.

appointments and cancellations

Appointment times are reserved especially for your child. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible so the time can be offered to another family. Cancellation terms, including any fees for late cancellation or non-attendance, are set out in the service agreement provided before services begin.

fees and payment

Current fees are outlined in your service agreement and on invoices. Payment is due within the timeframe shown on each invoice. Speech pathology services are GST-free. Travel for mobile visits may be charged as described in your service agreement.

ndis participants

For self-managed and plan-managed participants, supports are delivered and billed in line with your child's NDIS plan and the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, as set out in your service agreement.

telehealth

Telehealth sessions are delivered through secure video platforms. Families are responsible for a suitable device and internet connection. If technology fails, we will attempt to resume, complete the session by phone, or reschedule.

reports and records

Assessments include a written report where appropriate. Clinical records are maintained and stored in accordance with our privacy policy and professional requirements.

your responsibilities

Please provide accurate and up-to-date information about your child, let us know of any changes relevant to their care, and ensure a parent, guardian or agreed responsible adult is available during sessions with young children.

limitation

We provide services with due care and skill. General information on this website is not a substitute for individual assessment or advice. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
