what we collect

To provide safe, effective services we may collect personal and health information including your child's name, date of birth and contact details; parent or guardian details; relevant medical, developmental and educational history; assessment results, session notes and reports; NDIS plan details where relevant; and billing information. We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for providing our services.

how we collect it

how we use it

Your information is used to provide assessment and therapy, communicate with you about appointments and progress, prepare reports, process billing (including NDIS claims where applicable), and meet our legal and professional obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for marketing without consent.

storage and security

Clinical records are stored in secure, password-protected practice management and documentation systems with access limited to authorised users. Reasonable steps are taken to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. Records are retained in line with legal and professional requirements for health records, which for children generally extends until the child turns 25.

disclosure

Information is shared with others involved in your child's care (for example schools, doctors or other therapists) only with your consent, except where disclosure is required or authorised by law, such as mandatory reporting obligations or a serious threat to safety. De-identified information may be used for professional supervision and service improvement.
